About this Event
Join us for an enlightening lecture on Fr. Aleksandr Men, led by Prof. Randall A. Poole, Professor of Intellectual History at The College of St. Scholastica and co-director of the Northwestern University Research Initiative in Russian Philosophy, Literature, and Religious Thought.
Fr. Men (1935–1990) was a pioneering Russian Orthodox priest, theologian, and writer who played a crucial role in reviving Christian thought in Soviet Russia. His works, including Son of Man, In Search of the Way, Truth, and Life, and How to Read the Bible, were instrumental in countering the atheistic narratives of the Soviet era and are considered foundational in Russian Christian apologetics.
This event is free and open to all. Whether you're in Cambridge or joining us online, don't miss this opportunity to delve into the life and legacy of one of Russia's most influential religious thinkers.
