Fastsleeper releases their debut album this summer. Come hear the album before it hits shelves at the intimate O'Hara Hall. Xave Ruth opens.
About this Event

Fastsleeper, Xave Ruth and O'Hara Hall present an evening of music and laughter. Fastsleeper recorded their debut EP in early 2024, produced by local legend José Contreras, and look forward to releasing it this spring. They will present stripped-down versions of the songs in this intimate setting.

Fastsleeper is an adult rock band who call Toronto home. They usually rehearse on Thursday evenings but sometimes on Wednesdays too if Thursday doesn’t work.

Xave Ruth is a musical comedian and math teacher. Xave will open the show with his unique blend of periodic table funk, neo-Gregorian chant, and (actual) math rock.

O'Hara Hall is Toronto's most intimate living room. This is a house concert, so Bring Your Own Beverages (though we'll have extras just in case, as well as snacks). Get ready to get cozy with friends and new friends, huddling together on couches, cushions, and perhaps the floor, and enjoy the music.

Please RSVP by Sunday, April 21st to reserve your spot. This is a pay-what-you-can show with a suggested donation of $10 per guest. You can pay in cash or e-transfer (details to follow.)

Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8.

***note: the free version of Eventbrite only allows 25 tickets, but we have space for 30. If it says sold out, get in touch with Xave or Geoff and we'll let you know if we still have space!
