Fashion Show

Join us at the Riverfront Theatre in Newport on Saturday 31st August from 12pm as we collaborate with local designers to showcase a collection of modern and traditional African clothing.

There will be: diverse foods, live music, creative performances, a sew and repair workshop, face painting for kids and market stalls from local African businesses. Models will be displaying clothing from various African countries and cultures on a catwalk.

Our fashion show allows attendees to learn about different fashion styles, music and food from across Africa. As well as providing an opportunity to local businesses such as tailors, designers, caterers and other culturally diverse businesses to promote themselves.

The event will be accessible to all members of the community.
