Fascial Maneuvers: Upper Body Expansion

Within modern times we have been accustomed to sitting in chairs, at desks working, or in many situations that aren’t conducive for proper posture or optimal function in our bodies. Lots of people are struggling with issues in their back, neck, shoulders, and wrists and don’t have effective options to combat this. In this workshop, we will work deeply with the fascia throughout the upper body and more. Fascia is the connective tissue that holds the bones, ligaments, muscles, organs, and just about everything else down to the cellular level.

We will move, twist, and breathe, all of which will impact the entire body to release tension and open up. To help us integrate, we will complete the session with a 15 minute Reiki-infused gong bath that will support your body in the entire process of regeneration and expansion.

Fascial Maneuvers is a powerful up-and-coming modality developed by Human Garage that allows the body to heal itself by utilizing unique postures, breath, and movement. This process frees up restrictions in the body, allows for better mobility, and helps break through blockages.

With a clear intention, these techniques work on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level, bringing balance, harmony, and empowerment to the human experience.

You will leave feeling more expanded, like a weight has lifted off your shoulders so you can head back into life with a greater sense of ease.
Samuel Renfroe is a Reiki Master, Yoga/Meditation Teacher, and a Certified Facial Maneuvers Coach by Human Garage. He likes to explore all forms of wellness–body, mind, and soul. His journey has called him to look deeper, learning how to become the full expression of himself through service, travel, community, play, and everyday life interactions. As he continues this process, he invites you to join him in all that he has learned so we can share in a greater sense of well-being.

His teaching style brings emphasis on grounding into the body through the breath, mindful movement, and a meditative awareness. He also loves to discover new ways of working with the body to realign and live from the heart. His work combines the energetic and physical realms for a holistic approach to being human.
