An explosive fusion of western, country, bluegrass, rock, and surf music, seasoned with Brazilian soul, results in an authentic and unmistakable sound. Farol Negro, formed by Demétrius Coutinho (vocals, guitar, and banjo), Alberto Carvalho (vocals and acoustic bass), Almir Ribeiro (vocals and guitar), and Lucas Ricardo (drums), has been navigating the musical landscape since 2017, conquering stages at renowned festivals in Brazil such as Schornstein Festival, Rodeo, Caipira Rock, Navalhada, and also the international Muddy Roots 2025 festival in Argentina. They toured Brazil with the American singer Bob Wayne as his backing band. With songs that explore the soul, melodies, and lyrics that inspire, Farol Negro seeks to transmit ideas, experiences, and knowledge related to the human journey. They have released excellent singles and music videos, including hits like “Glória Falsa” and “De Volta Sem Distrair,” featuring Jimmy London (Matanza). Their latest single, “Areia escorregando pela mão”, invites the audience to reflect on time and the impermanence of life.
Im Spätsommer 2009 gründete sich im wilden Westen der Republik die Band Louderdales aus einer spontanen Idee unter Freunden. Aus anfangs lockeren Sessions entwickelte sich schnell eine feste Formation. Beeinflusst von nahezu jeder gitarrenlastigen Musik der letzten 70 Jahre entstand ein Stil aus Americana, alternative Country, einer Prise old fashioned Rock'n'Roll und einer guten Portion Cow-Punk.
Die markante Honky-Tonk-Stimme von Leadsänger Joe erzählt Geschichten aus der Welt der Outlaws und gescheiterten Existenzen, Geschichten über Trauer und Verlust, aber auch über Freundschaft und Liebe.
Ihre Sporen verdienten sich die fünf Louderdales in Bands wie The Dirtshakes, Pigheaded, The Gee Strings und The Bloodstrings. Seit 2010 teilten sie sich die Bühne mit Acts wie Bob Wayne, James Hunnicutt, Jenny Don’t & The Spurs, Chip Hanna und vielen anderen.
Die Louderdales sind allzeit bereit ihre Pferde zu satteln und sämtliche Saloons rund um den Globus zum Kochen zu bringen!
Ein drittes Studioalbum ist in Arbeit und wird in 2027 erscheinen.
