Friends and comrades, As every year The Food Autonomy Festival is a manifestatie that brings together activists, farmers, and cultural actors in order to celebrate and process our resistance. The manifestation is held every year without selling tickets, and is open to the public on donation. All donations will be used to further support struggles around land rights, agroecology, and against all forms of maginalization that occurs when we try to resist state oppression.
The first day of the Food Autonomy Festival in Amsterdam will be dedicated to practically supporting small-scale farmers and learning from them at the same time! ?
The farmers from @plukcsaboterbloem and @bio_boerderijdeboterbloem will each spend 3 hours showing you around their farms in the Lutkemeerpolder and teaching you how to practically farm at their locations.
This space is especially important to us as we want to keep folks connected to the ongoing campaign to save the Lutkemeerpolder for the @Voedselpark Amsterdam project. ?
Come and join us for a day filled with in-depth social and political conversations about Food Autonomy with dedicated and passionate farmers, and get your hands dirty on the way! Anyone can join but it would be a huge help to the farmers if they know how many people to expect, so please sign up in advance and make sure to contact us if your plans change!
