Farming and Government Influences - Big River Farms

In this session we will look at the different Federal, State and Local agencies and how they interact with the agricultural world. Participants will gain understanding of the different government offices and their roles in financing and regulating Farms. Participants will gain an understanding of which agencies they might interact with during the operation of a farming business and where to find needed information. Topics will also cover; how to get involved as a farmer advocate in the political landscape and organizations working on farm policy
