THE FARMERS SANTA PARADE IS BACK!
Get ready for Auckland’s biggest annual community celebration as the 93rd Farmers Santa Parade brings Christmas magic, colour and excitement to the city.
For more than 90 years, the Parade has brought families together to celebrate the festive season, and this year promises to be bigger and more magical than ever. Expect spectacular floats, colourful costumes, marching bands, live performances, giant character inflatables and plenty of surprises along the route.
This year, Paddington Bear joins the Parade for the first time. Watch out for Paddington riding in the Parade, before he takes to the stage at Santa’s Party in Aotea Square.
There will be plenty of familiar favourites too, including The Grinch, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook, Ana & Elsa, Cheerbear and many more.
The Parade will also showcase the incredible diversity of Auckland, with cultural performers, musicians, dance groups, cheerleaders and marching bands bringing energy and colour to the streets.
Then the celebrations continue at Santa’s Party in Aotea Square from 2.30pm, hosted by Jono, Ben and Megan from The Hits. Enjoy live entertainment, rides, giveaways, special guests and a Paddington Bear stage show.
Bring the whole family, find your favourite spot along the Parade route and join us for a day of Christmas magic as we officially kick off the festive season in Auckland.
Parade: Sunday 29 November, 1pm
Santa’s Party: 2.30pm, Aotea Square
Postponement Date: Sunday 6 December
