Join us for a fun, hands-on cooking experience as part of our Kids Power of Produce (POP) Program!
Kids will head into Kitchen 242 to create a fresh and colorful Farmers Market Veggie Pasta Salad using delicious seasonal vegetables found right here at the Muskegon Farmers Market. Chef Char will guide young chefs through the recipe while teaching them about fresh ingredients, healthy eating, and simple cooking skills they can use at home.
After preparing their pasta salad, participants will enjoy tasting their creation and leave inspired to make healthy meals with locally grown produce.
