Mini No-Till Farming Workshop

Join us for a mini-version of our beloved “Living Soil: Intensive, No-Till, Hands-On Workshop”. This mini version is being offered especially for Farm Trails Spring Tour.

We’ll send you homework to review ahead of time and then jump in with a farm tour looking at examples of the principles of no-till farming as we walk through the fields, touching on techniques, compost, water, nursery and much more. Then we’ll do a hands-on transition of a bed from one crop to the next, giving you an up close and personal experience you can take home to your own garden.

This informative, inspiring tour will reveal the intricate web of life that has been created on our multi-award winning biodiversity farm. See where your food is grown, and learn how food can be grown while supporting and enhancing the soil and watershed, creating abundant wildlife habitat that also happens to produce food for us Humans!

We will be ready for both adult and child learners with potentially two side by side tours.
