Farm to Table Dinner in a Greek Taverna

The Rustic Greek Taverna Dinner

Greek classic rustic fare as it would be served in a village taverna featuring the best local produce and the country’s bounty.

Arrive before 6:00PM to explore the farm and enjoy some passed apps .

Once all the guests arrive we will sit communally next to friends old and new. Food will be served family style to be passed and shared around the table. Our menus reflect the farm and always include greens harvested the day of the event.

We serve water and a chilled herbal tea. Please feel free to bring any beverage you wish to enjoy, we'll provide the glassware.

Mezedes ( Hors d’oeuvres)

Taramasalata, ( carp roe) Tirokafteri (Creamy Feta, peppers, olive oil and garlic dip) with pita

Kolokithokefedes with tzatziki

(Zuchini cakes and a favorite of Jose Andres)

Sourdough Focaccia

Main course

Roasted whole chicken with lemon garlic and oregano

Horta. (Farm green vegetables wilted in olive oil with lemon juice )

Roasted potatoes with herbs, garlic lemon rind and kalamata olives

Dessert

Karithopita. Spiced walnut cake with olive oil

Petit fours

Candied orange rinds and pineapple bites with star anise

Vegan main course

Gigantes plaki. ( Large beans stew with tomatoes garlic, leeks, Swiss chard, carrots, herbs and olive oil
