In his free time, he frequents Gilley’s, a popular honky-tonk bar, where he meets and falls in love with Sissy (Debra Winger). Their relationship faces ups and downs as they navigate jealousy, pride, and the cowboy culture of mechanical bull-riding. Set to a country music soundtrack, Urban Cowboy explores themes of love, masculinity, and the clash between rural and urban lifestyles in Texas.
