Ready to learn more about the journey our food goes on to get from the farm to your fork? Join Second Harvest’s National Youth Council for a two-hour workshop packed with fun and food-filled learning. By the end of the event, you’ll have a better understanding of our food system, how food is wasted at each stage, and the impact food waste has on climate change. Learn tips to reduce food waste at home and engage in group discussions and activities. In addition, participants will connect with the community and practice their food waste reduction techniques as we prepare and customize no-bake energy bites using ripe bananas.
