Farm Field Trip @ Lehne Farms (for 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade)

Umpqua Valley Farm to School is organizing a series of farm field trips this Spring, available on a 'first-come, first-served' basis to any elementary school in Douglas County. There is no cost to participate and we encourage schools that do not have their own funding for farm field trips to register.

Lehne Farms is a fourth generation produce farm that offers a year-round selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Your class will take a hay ride around the farm and orchards, plant vegetable seeds, and see an example of a small family owned and operated farm. This field trip is for either 3rd, 4th, or 5th Grade and can include all classes of one grade level at your school.

We have field trips scheduled on Tuesday, May 23rd and Thursday, May 25th. Each field trip has its own event page and registration link - please register for the date that works best for you. Space is limited to one grade level at one school per trip so be sure to register asap!

Once you've registered, we will reach out to coordinate travel logistics and share a detailed agenda.
