Do dějin se zapsal, když jako spoluhráč navedl Toma Waitse k revolučnímu zvukovému modelu, později pomohl Robertu Plantovi společně s Alison Krauss získat Grammy, pravidelně natáčí pro Johna Zorna. Jeho jedinečný kytarový rukopis propojuje americkou hudební tradici s celým spektrem jazzu, avantgardou, punkem a hlukovou estetikou.
Do Prahy se Marc Ribot vrací se zcela novým projektem. Na bicí hraje Ches Smith, u nás dobře známý spoluhráč Ribota z kapely Ceramic Dog, kterého The New York Times označily za „jednoho z nejvynalézavějších bubeníků experimentální scény“. Kromě Ribota spolupracoval s takovými jmény jako je John Zorn, Terry Riley, Dave Holland, Mr. Bungle a další. Na baskytaru se představí Farida Amadou z Belgie, která se svým syrovým a intuitivním přístupem k improvizaci zařadila mezi nejvýraznější osobnosti současné experimentální hudby a která spolupracovala s umělci, jako jsou Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Peter Brötzmann, Andy Moor, Terrie Ex (oba The Ex), Lukas Koenig (Mopcut), Ken Vandermark nebo Moor Mother.

For over 40 years, Marc Ribot has been one of the most influential guitarists on the contemporary music scene. He made history by helping Tom Waits forge his groundbreaking new sound, later contributed to Robert Plant and Alison Krauss's Grammy-winning success, and continues to record regularly with John Zorn. Ribot's unmistakable guitar voice bridges the American musical tradition with the full spectrum of jazz, avant-garde, punk, and noise music.
Marc Ribot returns to Prague with an entirely new project. On drums is Ches Smith, well known to Czech audiences as Ribot’s bandmate in Ceramic Dog, and described by The New York Times as “one of the most inventive drummers in experimental music.” In addition to his long-standing collaboration with Ribot, Smith has worked with artists including John Zorn, Terry Riley, Dave Holland, Mr. Bungle, and others.
On bass is Belgian musician Farida Amadou, whose raw, intuitive approach to improvisation has established her as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary experimental music. She has collaborated with artists such as Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Peter Brötzmann, Andy Moor, Terrie Ex (both of The Ex), Lukas Koenig (Mopcut), Ken Vandermark, and Moor Mother.
