1.0 EVENT ESSENTIALS
Welcome to the Fantasy Books and Games competitive tournament series. It is our desire to run a series of competitive tournaments that follow the format and mindset of larger national tournaments.
Our goal is to help players develop the competitive tournament mindset and become familiar with the flow of these types of events! Bring your most powerful lists, and plan to play in a competitive yet friendly environment. Let’s play honorably, learn a lot, and make new friends along the way.

1.1 BCP REGISTERING AND ARMY LISTS

Best Coast Pairings App
This tournament will use the Best Coast Pairings app (BCP). Please sign up for the event in Best Coast Pairings ahead of time if possible! Be sure to log into BCP and upload your Army Roster at least a week before the event.
1.2 Tools of War
Attendees are expected to bring their army, dice, a tape measure, all relevant rules publications, and at least 1 physical copy of their army roster for quick reference. If you are using any electronic devices to carry your official rules references, please ensure they are always charged and available for reference.

1.4 ARMY LIST RESTRICTIONS
Normal army construction rules per The Generals Hand Book Pitched Battles 2023-2024 to build a list of 2000pts.
All Battletomes released on or before Feb 2024 are legal
Please bring a printout or digital copy of your list to show your opponent your list each round. Lists MUST be submitted via BCP.
PLEASE BE AWARE that only the most recent tomes/points/etc will be used. If your army has a new tome and rules at least a day prior to the event date, it will be used. Old tomes/rules/points are not allowed
1.5 SPORTSMANSHIP
Don’t be a jerk!
2.0 PAINTING AND MODEL APPEARANCE
Armies are not required to be painted, but unpainted armies will not be eligible to win the Best Painted award.
Models must be appropriately based on their correct base sizes (see https://basedesires.com or GW’s official FAQ on this)
Proxies and Count-as models are allowed but must clearly represent the model they represent. No fully 3d printed armies please. Any questions please contact the TO prior to the event.
3.0 PRIZE SUPPORT
All entry fees will be added into a prize pool with the reward being store credit.
1st thru 3rd place will receive a percentage of the total prize pool.
Store staff will vote on the Best Painted army. Best Painted army will also receive a percentage of the prize pool.
4.0 TOURNAMENT RULES
The Best Coast Pairings App will be used to generate pairings\scores for the event.
2000 point lists using the rules and restrictions provided in the Pitched Battle section from the most current General’s Handbook as stated above. You MUST use your most recent factions’ rules and FAQs.
Any kind of ability you can choose before the game must be chosen before the event and recorded on your army roster clearly. These choices are made for the entire event, and cannot be changed during the event.
Players will set up their own objectives. If any terrain is in the way of placing an objective, it is up to both players to come to an agreement on how to move a piece of terrain as little as possible to fit an objective.

Pairings will be random in the first round. Each subsequent round by win record. Battle points is a total of your achieved points listed above
