What a lovely way to start the Christmas celebrations! Our 'Fantastical Christmas Creatures' activity day will be on 30th November.
Join us for readings of the beautiful 'Letters from Father Christmas' by J. R. R. Tolkien in our festive Victorian Cottages. Hear all about the fun antics of the clumsy North Polar Bear, accident-prone Snowman and explosive Northern Lights!
You are also invited to the 'Christmas Creatures Chase' and save Christmas from those naughty fantastical creatures who are on the rampage around the museum! Meet some nice creatures too!
If you succeed with the quest, you will be put on Santa's good list and you can write him a letter. All letters will be sent directly via Royal Mail North Pole Express, and you will receive a reply from Santa by Christmas. You can even stay and play some games afterwards, if you like!
Readings will be at 11am, 12pm and 1pm, with sessions running for approximately 2 hours.
