About this Event
Join us at MOX for an afternoon of family fun and crafts to celebrate A Way of Life:The People behind St Giles Fair, our new exhibition exploring the history of our local fun fair and the Showman's community. Learn about the history of the fantastic fairs and make a carousel craft to take home.
This craft is suitable for those aged 5-12, but all ages are welcome. Children must be supervised by an adult during the event.
This is a drop-in event with a self-led craft. With a ticket, you can arrive at anytime between 12.00 and 14.00. We strongly recommend prebooking as we cannot guarantee capacity on the day.
Access:
There is step-free, level entry access to the Town Hall is via the entrance closest to Carfax (to the left of the main steps as you face the Town Hall). Inside the Museum, Museum Makers is accessible via a platform lift to the Galleries and then via stairs.
Accessible toilets are available in the Museum (close to Museum Makers) and in the Town Hall on the ground floor, before entering the Museum.
