About this Event

1953. Appointed to Blida Hospital in Algeria, Martinican psychiatrist Frantz Fanon challenges colonial practices with a deeply humanist vision of care, provoking growing resistance. As the country edges toward revolt, he refuses to remain a bystander. With his wife, he makes the decisive choice to join the struggle for independence.
