Sergei Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances Op.45 was his brilliant final masterpiece, and is the central work for this program. Join pianists Anna Sleptsova and Tommy Seah in a recital for two pianos in an evening of fanfares and dances for two pianos at the Government House Ballroom that will introduce the world premiere of Fanfara for two pianos by Perth-based composer Lachlan Skipworth. Also in the program is Mozart’s Sonata in D major K.448, a favourite amongst audiences worldwide.
This exciting concert on two pianos is not to be missed! Perth Recital Series first presented pianists Anna Sleptsova and Tommy Seah in a sold-out recital at Perth Concert Hall in 2023. The recital featured music by Schubert and Brahms for four-hands.
