Revitalizing the vibrant Son Jarocho tradition from Veracruz Mexico and adding a global approach Conjunto Jardín showcases the talents of sisters Libby and Cindy Harding. They masterfully wield the traditional jarana a compact strummed rhythm guitar and the requinto a four-string lead guitar plucked with a long bone pua or pick. Their harmonious sibling vocals soar above the vigorous jaranas propelled by a dynamic Peruvian cajón-and-bass rhythm section and resonant harp-like keyboards forging a contemporary yet authentically traditional sound. Infused with rock-inspired energy and approachable allure Conjunto Jardín's music captivates listeners with its distinctive flair and makes them dance.

Adding to the ensemble's dynamic presence guest dancer Delilah Vasquez improvises percussive zapateado footwork further enriching their performance. As a special guest Peruvian guitar player Ciro Hurtado will open the act and then join the band.

Notably the group earned a nomination for Best Latin/Salsa Artist at the 2003 L.A. Weekly Music Awards and received an esteemed L.A. Treasures Award from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. "Conjunto Jardín... is built around the convincing traditional-styled singing and playing of sisters Libby and Cindy Harding. Their music... was almost instantly captivating generating dancing in the aisles.... It was a superb example of the manner in which traditional music and dance continue to have the power to reach out and gather in new receptive audiences." - Don Heckman Los Angeles Times
