Why did we create this course?

As a POS system provider, we meet new F&B businesses preparing to open their outlets on a daily basis. Too often, we hear about unexpected delays because they did not get their SFA licence (which is a mandatory for food businesses).

Why does this happen?

Mostly because the new F&B owners are unaware of certain regulations and specifications.

These delays can stretch from a few days to over a month, depending on what changes need to be made in order to pass the inspection. Each day your outlet opening is delayed is a loss of revenue. If your estimated daily revenue is $1,500, in one month you would have lost $45,000. 

The worst part is that this can be easily avoided – with education. That's why we started our bootcamp to address the process of applying and getting your SFA licence, along with other helpful info to start your F&B business on the right foot.

FAQs

How do I get to the venue?

We recommend by MRT! Hive is located in an annex to Esplanade MRT station called Esplanade Xchange among some retail shops – it's opposite Japan Home. It is also accessible from Citylink Mall (Exit D) or Raffles City (take the underpass next to HOOGA).

I have made any progress in starting an F&B business yet. Can I attend?

Yes of course! This bootcamp is a good way to orientate yourself and start planning for your F&B business.

Can I use Skillsfuture credits for this course?

Unfortunately this bootcamp is not Skillsfuture accredited.
