Did you know that firecrackers were used to ward off evil spirits in the past? Come learn and explore the vibrant history of firecrackers in Vancouver’s Chinatown on Saturday, July 20, 2024! You’ll have a chance to make your own decorative "firecracker launchers" and see our colourful collection of vintage firecracker labels.
👨👩👧👦 Drop in anytime between 11am and 1pm to take part! Activities and admission are FREE for youth (17 & under). Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult participation is with admission or free for Storytelling Centre members. 🎉
