Family Revolutionary Sunday: Declaration

250 years ago, 56 men committed one of the most famous acts of treason that gave rise to a new nation. Learn what the beautiful language of the Declaration is saying and try your hand at writing your own version! In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, The Charleston Museum is hosting a series of family programs called Revolutionary Sundays throughout 2026. These free with admission or Museum membership programs will explore different themes, events, and people from the Revolutionary War. Revolutionary Sundays include a class or guided tour and a craft or activity.
