Clyfford Still made some big paintings! Let’s celebrate some of his biggest works and the beginning of summer by making our own big paintings outside on the Museum’s outdoor forecourt. Join us for this fun, FREE, hands-on art making family program.The target audience for family programs is toddlers to eight years old, with siblings and friends of any age welcome. No registration is required; walk-ins are welcome, drop-in anytime during the program! There is no cost for our outdoor programs.

The free Denver Chalk Art Festival is taking place during the same weekend as the family program on the streets next to the Clyfford Still Museum! The Festival will cause some street closures near the Museum, so please plan accordingly. On June 10, these streets will be closed for the Festival: Bannock St. from 11th Ave. to 13th Ave.; 12th Ave. from Cherokee St. to Acoma St.; and Acoma St. from 11th Ave to 12th Ave.
If you’d like to go inside and check out our galleries before or after the program: Museum admission is free for CSM members, $10 adults, $8 seniors (65+), $6 teachers/college students/military, $1 Museums for All/Explorer Pass (with valid EBT card), always free for children ages 17 and under. Five by Five participants can scan the QR code when they arrive at the Museum to receive the program discount.
