Join us for a celebration of music and kinship in Family Matters, a voice and piano concert featuring piano works by Beethoven, Chopin and Rameau, as well as some German lieder and Filipino kundiman favorites, with pianist Denzel Abarquez and baritone Ronnie Abarquez!
Denzel recently completed graduate studies at the Western Illinois University, and is staying in the country briefly before pursuing his doctoral studies at the James Madison University by August. Ronnie, Denzel's uncle, has been one of the latter's greatest musical infliences, being an esteemed baritone himself, and choir conductor of the award-winning Quorista, the resident choir of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Alabang! Both musicians are proud graduates of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Conservatory of Music!
