Family Learning's Understanding Emotions (0306)

A three-week course to help improve emotional understanding and communication.

Understanding Emotions provides parents with information on emotional development in children and techniques on how to manage tantrums.

Sessions will run on 3rd, 10th and 17th June from 10:00 - 12:30pm.

Topics covered:

· What emotions are and their development in children.

· Emotion Coaching techniques

· Emotions and the brain, the science behind what we feel.

· Techniques to manage tantrums, your own emotional control, increasing your confidence as a parent.

This activity is delivered by CLD Family Learning as part of Aberdeen City Council and is open to parents/carers living in Aberdeen. For parents in the Hazlehead Academy catchment area.

These sessions are Free.

This ticket is a note of interest. Once you have signed up via Eventbrite, you will be emailed a registration form that you must complete to secure your place on the course.
