About this Event

Multiply offers easy access to free numeracy courses and initiatives that can help you brush up your maths skills .

If you're aged 19 and over and don't have maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent), you can access free numeracy courses through Multiply to build your confidence with numbers. Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or prepare you for further study. They also help in everyday life, such as helping children with homework and budgeting money.


If you are unable to open or make a booking through Eventbrite, you may need to update your internet browser or use a different one (for example, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome). Read guidance on updating your internet browser.

Our Multiply courses are for people aged over 19 but we have some great courses for people aged 14 to 18, if you are interested in these please visit our website. If you are aged between 14 to 18 and are interested in this course please email [email protected].



Do your children like dinosaurs and stories? Join us for some fury dice, dinosaurs, and number fun.

Venue: Cotmanhay Children's Centre, Beauvale Drive, Cotmanhay.

1.5 hours per week for 3 weeks, 4.5 hours in total

This course is for: This free course is for parents and carers of children aged 3-5 and is aimed at adults with less than a Level 2 mathematics qualification.

You will learn:
• How to make math fun using stories, rhymes, and play activities

• How to help your children with early math skills: numbers, shapes, counting, and sizes

This is a face-to-face course.



Work outside of the sessions: This is not required, though we hope you will want to put what you have learned into practice.

Progression from this course:
You may wish to progress to other Family Learning courses such as Keep up with the Kids Multiply courses, Family First Aid, or Make a Puppet Theatre. You may want to consider an introductory numeracy course for adults or a maths qualification course. All courses are free.
