Family Jam Presents: Preschool Readiness Jam

Preschool is a magical time: new friends and teachers, exciting experiences, and taking big steps towards independence. Many parents may be worried about how their child will fare once drop off is over–will she know to raise her hand if she needs the bathroom? Will he be able to follow along when the teacher starts circle time? She’s never had to stand in a line before!

For children who are new to preschool, teaching simple skills before school begins can help to increase confidence and make those first-day jitters feel more manageable (for parents too!).

Join Family Jam as we introduce practical “preschool readiness” skills, with a music-based twist! Led by two preschool moms (who also happen to be a speech pathologist and a child psychologist), we will practice basics like using a backpack, standing in line, and joining circle time.

Let’s get our little ones on the right track to truly start learning this year! And- since it is Family Jam, after all- we’ll be learning these skills through some of our favorite music!
