About This Event: Family Health Harvest at River City

Join us on Friday, October 11th, from 12 PM to 4 PM, for the Family Health Harvest, a special celebration to thank our amazing clients and community for 17 years of support! As we celebrate our birthday and the Thanksgiving season, we’re bringing the community together for a day filled with family fun, health, and gratitude.

In collaboration with the MAN VAN®, we’re offering free PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood testing for men aged 40-70. This quick and non-invasive blood test can help with early detection of prostate cancer, a disease that often shows no warning signs. Additionally, men over 18 can take advantage of a general health blood test during the event.

While the men in our community get their health checked, families can enjoy a variety of fun activities like inflatables and games. We’ll be serving up free BBQ hot dogs and refreshments, making it a perfect way to kick off the Thanksgiving long weekend.

The MAN VAN® is Canada’s first mobile men’s health clinic, offering free PSA blood testing for prostate cancer early detection. The test is fast, free, and requires no appointment. It takes just 15 minutes and can help save lives. Additionally, the MAN VAN® team offers a mental wellness check to assess depression and suicide risk, ensuring a comprehensive approach to men’s health.
