Family Fun Science: Soar into Science with Kites and Helicopters

Do you have flying fever after the Artemis II flight? Join us to fly on a smaller scale with kites and helicopters. We’ll have supplies to build your own kite and rubber band helicopter. We will meet at Nehring Forest Preserve, so you’ll have room to test your creations after you make them.
This program will be at P.A. Nehring Forest Preserve in their picnic shelter. Please park in the lot and follow the short paved trail to get to the shelter.
The program is limited to the first 30 children to arrive.
