Lightning, thunder, and tornadoes, oh my!
The Midwest has its share of dangerous weather. NIU Meteorology students will teach us about what tornadoes and thunderstorms are and how to stay safe during them. Then we’ll do some hands-on meteorology activities, including making our own barometers and tornadoes in a bottle.
The program is limited to the first 30 children to arrive. Sign-up will begin at the children’s desk 1 hour before the event.
