Come start winter break off right with our first ever Family Fun Night at the Michigan Sports Facility!What is Family Fun Night?
Our Family Fun Nights are when we convert the Michigan Sports Facility from a pure sporting facility into a facility filled to the brim with fun, family-friendly things for kids and adults to do all night!
Just SOME of the highlights include:
Inflatables - including a big bounce castle, an inflatable obstacle course, an inflatable jousting arena, inflatable boxing ring (complete with over-sized gloves and head gear), even an inflatable archery range!
Basketball courts - of course you can still play basketball!
Pickleball - Whether you think you're the next Pete Sampras of Pickleball or picking up a racquet for the first time, enjoy the sport together as family! We will have several courts setup so a bunch of families can play at once! No bracket or anything...yet.
Cornhole - Grab some bags and toss them parents against kids, boys against girls, or family against family!
Putterball - If you've never played this, thing cup-pong (parents know it as something else) but with putting golf balls!
Video Games - We've partnered with MeggaXP to bring in several family friendly video games and arcade cabinets including staples like Wii Bowling, NBA JAM, NFL Blitz, Simpsons Bowling, Super Smash Bros, and yes - mom can even play Super Mario World!
Tabletop Games - We also will have a large board game library where you can play anything from Monopoly and Chutes and Ladders to Settlers of Catan, Large Dry Erase Board Pictionary, Uno, Euchre, and more! Several tables will be setup and you can pick up a game and play as a family or mom and dad can play a game while the kids run around in the other areas!
Jackbox Games - Things like Quiplash, Drawful, and more all can be played with your smartphones as controllers!
All of this and MORE - we are constantly adding attractions to this event - so who knows what will be there when you show up!
Will there be food?
Yes - the concession stand will be open serving all kinds of food, drinks, candy and more! From pizza and pop to candy and YES - coffee - it's going to be cold in December, right?
What does this cost?
Family Fun Night is designed to be AFFORDABLE for families too. The cost is $10 per person, or $40 for a family of up to 6. We're not doing DNA tests either, if you catch our drift. We are encouraging people to come as groups - so they can all have fun together!
What time does it start / end?
Family Fun Night will start at 5pm (about when it gets dark these days) and we will close up at 10pm.
Can I buy tickets in advance / at the door?
You can definitely buy them at the door for sure, and we are working on getting an advanced ticket system up and running so stay tuned for that!
We are trying to offer up something AFFORDABLE for families and groups to do, together - to beat the winter woes! It gets dark at 5pm these days, so why not fill your Friday night with some good old fashioned family fun. No matter what your family likes to do, we're pretty confident you won't find a better value for a night out than this!
