The Family Fun Night series returns for its third season of themed-night goodness throughout Summer 2024. This event series takes place on the third Thursday of the month – May through August – from 5pm to 9pm.
Themed activities take place throughout Downtown Woodstock, culminating in a movie on the Woodstock Arts Event Green.
Thursday, May 16th, will kick off the series with "Fairy Tale Night". This magical night will see fairy tales come to life in Downtown Woodstock! It will be a night of wonder and magic, featuring the movie “Shrek”.
Event Green:
5-9pm - Pelican's Snoballs & King Of Pops will be set up on the Event Green for the entire event serving their delicious treats. Pelicans will be featuring their signature Unicorn snoball with fairy dust
5-7pm - Characters from Shrek will be on the green interacting with kids and available for photos. Characters brought to us courtesy of Mystical Parties Entertainment.
5-7pm— Fairytale Photo Op presented by Woodstock City Church.
5-7pm— Shrek and Fairytale Face painter presented by Woodstock City Church.
5-7pm— Shrek and Fairytale Chalk Drawings on the Noonday Creek Trail leading to the Reeves House. Presented by Woodstock City Church.
5-7pm—Fairytale Hair - Presented by Woodstock City Church.
5:30pm & 6:30pm - Fairy Tale Trivia presented by Lights Up Entertainment.
7pm- Movie Time! Featured film will be "Shrek".
Main Street:
5-7pm- Woodstock Public Library will be featuring a special craft project where kids can create magic wands at their table. They will also have bubbles and information about their Summer Discovery available. You'll find they're set up near Dare To Be Different on Main.
Depot Square:
5-7pm - Characters from Shrek will be at Depot Square interacting with kids and available for photos. Characters brought to us courtesy of Mystical Parties Entertainment.
5-7pm— Pie Bar Pie Walk happening every 10 minutes. Winners will take home a whole pie! Also chances to win a free slice gift cards!! Activity courtesy of Woodstock City Church.
5-7pm— Shrek Slime and Fairytale Ribbon Wand Giveaway. Activity courtesy of Woodstock City Church.
Chambers Street:
5-7pm Shrek and Fairytale Face painter in front of Deep Roots - Activity courtesy of Woodstock City Church.
5-7pm Shrek and Fairytale Tattoos in front of Eden/Brooklynn's/Madisonn Ave - Activity courtesy of Woodstock City Church.
Downtown Merchant specials
- The Daily Draft is offering a Kids Eat Free special with purchase of an adult entree.
-Canyons will be giving away dragon figurines with purchase of milkshake or Kids Meals all night long
-Partners Pizza will be giving a pair of "Shrek Green" sunglasses with the purchase of any pizza during Family Fun Night (while supplies last)
-Made Mercantile will be hosting a special fairy tale craft. Make your own fairy wand at Made!
