Hello everyone! A little back story - our only barn cat, Abner, developed a significant medical condition that after weeks of amazing veterinary care at Pikesville Animal Hospital, he is finally beginning to recover! Although we are still being cautious, it's looking better and better every day that he's going to continue living the life of a spoiled cat! Some may say, "But he's just a barn cat" and he is far from that - he's our only barn cat and takes his duties very seriously. He will greet you as soon as you pull into the farm, he's great guard against the mice that would otherwise infest the barn, walks around like he owns the place and most importantly he brings a smile with his instant purr when you pet him.
We're inviting our communities, family and friends to come check out Rump Shaker Farm to help raise funds for his extensive veterinary bills.
This will be free to come and tickets sold for be pony rides, goat petting and grooming, food, games and crafts. And there will be a demo @2pm to see what we're all about there. So come meet Abner and all the other "residents" .... Eeyore, Cecilia, PattiCake, Zazu, Chance, Symphony, Willa, Cash, BamBam & Pebbles and of course, our farm mascot - Allie! We are looking forward to this being a super fun fundraiser for Abner-the-Barn-Cat and seeing you there!
