Family Fun Day

Looking for something fun, meaningful, and local to do with your family this spring? Join us for Family Fun Day at YMCA Hayo-Went-Ha Camps in partnership with the Great Start Collaborative of Traverse Bay. This free community event is designed to bring families together with local youth organizations, environmental groups, and family support resources all in one welcoming space.

This is a relaxed, drop-in event where you can explore camp, meet community partners, gather information about programs, and connect with organizations that support children and families across Northern Michigan. From youth activities to early childhood resources and environmental education, you’ll discover the many ways our local community is investing in kids.

There is no cost to attend. We simply invite families to bring a non-perishable food item for the local pantry if they are able. There will be giveaways every 15 minutes, camp activities and lots to entertain everyone! Including music, story time, a balloon animal giveaway, s'mores, gaga, and free play areas.

Come meet the vendors, enjoy time outdoors, and learn about the great programs available right here in our region.
