A Family Fun Day, dog show and Makers Market at Bennetts Willow Barn, WorcesterOur first family fun day of the year is planned and this one has a doggy theme to it, although you don’t need to have a dog to come along!
running from 11am to 3pm on Monday 6th May 2024, the bank holiday Monday. The farm cafe will be open as usual from 9:30am until 3:30pm - we suggest you book a table for breakfast or lunch, which you can do via our website.
We will have a @bbcinflatables bouncy castle in the garden (spend a minimum of £5 per child for unlimited play) and we will have pizzas, ice cream (human and doggy!) and a bar in our garden too, so let’s hope for good weather so we can enjoy some bank holiday sunshine!
Sweetpea's Doggy Deli & Pop-up Shop will be hosting a fun charity dog show in our yurt marquee and (weather permitting) outdoor doggy play den and splash zone
Hayley Morris Photography - Newborn, Child & Family Photography will also be there with a mini studio set up ready to take some family and doggy portraits and she is kindly offering the Best in Show prize for the dog show: a portrait session in her studio!
Houghton's Hounds will be providing a special puppy class prize, and we will have plenty of goodie bags and rosettes as usual.
AND in our barn we will be hosting a makers market, with done fab suppliers confirmed including the very popular Grandad Fats Gluten Free bakery
So come along for some bank holiday fun! The dog show categories will be listed on our website and a Facebook event by the end of the week
Registration for the dog show starts at 11am, and the classes will start promptly at 12pm. Please ensure you are registered by 12pm latest. Entry fees are £3 per class CASH ONLY to be donated to our charity of choice, to be announced on the day. Classes will be as follows:
1. Loveliest Pup
2. Golden Oldie
3. Fabulous Fella
4. Gorgeous Girl
5. Best Rescue
6. Waggiest tail.
7. Best Trick
8. Young Handler
9. Dog the Judge wants to take home
10. Best in show - winners from each class will be put forward for the championship!
