Family Fun Day at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens welcomes families to celebrate the season at its annual Family Fun Day, presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This spring-themed event takes place across the museum’s breathtaking 35-acre subtropical estate and features a full day of entertainment, educational experiences, and outdoor art.

Highlights include:

• Admission to the internationally acclaimed ZimSculpt outdoor sculpture exhibition, featuring live sculpting demonstrations and an open-air marketplace with hundreds of Zimbabwean fine art sculptures available for purchase.
• Live classical concerts by the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra in the courtyard.
• Self-guided tours of the historic house museum showcasing the Bartlett family’s art collection and personal treasures. Activities inside the iconic home include historic reenactors performing in each room, and an Artifact Treasure Hunt.
• Visitors are encouraged to take photos while meeting with City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department's Mounted Horse and K9 Police Units.
• The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Fort Lauderdale Chapter and Black Architects in the Making (BAM) will host a "Build Your Own Cityscape" event to introduce architecture as a career pathway to students.
• Sierra Club Broward Chapter will be on-site, helping educate visitors on the environment.
• A historical craft table will be available from History Fort Lauderdale.
• Art History in the Park with Catalina LeMaitre featuring an artmaking experience for the entire family.

·Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Caruso’s Catering and separately, the Bonnet House Museum Gift Shop will have tropical gifts and native plants for sale.
