Join York Civic Trust and Lisa-marie Newman from Creative Avenue, York, for a FREE family-friendly creative workshop. Inspired by local heritage, you will create a pair of mosaic coasters to use at home, exploring memories, places and experiences through colourful tiles.

This relaxed and welcoming session is suitable for everyone aged 5 and over. It's open to families, adults and anyone who would like to have a go at creating a mosaic—no children are required to attend! Under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Lisa-marie is an exhibiting mosaic artist and member of BAMM, as well as a fully qualified art teacher with 25 years’ experience teaching from secondary through to adult education. She is also an Art Tutor for City of York Council’s York Learning workshops.
