Family Field Day

Le Chéile North Carolina is thrilled to announce its inaugural "Family Field Day" event. This celebration of Irish culture and tradition promises a day of fun, games, and community spirit for all ages.

The event will feature classic activities such as the wheelbarrow race, egg and spoon race, tug-of-war, and three-legged race, offering both nostalgic memories for Irish immigrants and new experiences for younger generations.

In addition, Family Field Day will showcase a variety of attractions, including:

• Traditional races and games for children and adults
• Artisan food vendors
• Arts and crafts exhibitions
• Face painting
• Live Irish music featuring Carroll Brown
• Live Irish dance performances
• Food and beverage stations

Le Chéile NC anticipates that the Family Field Day will become an annual tradition, further strengthening the Irish-American community in the area.

The event is open to the public and will take place on the grounds of the Knights of Columbus in North East Raleigh between 1pm - 6pm on October 26th.
