Family Day: Rooted Together, A Family Affair
About this Event
Family isn't something we do once a year. It's something we grow, together. This Family Day is built for the whole household: parents, kids, grandparents, the family you were born into and the family you've chosen.
We're gathering to pray over our children as a new school year approaches, to watch a movie together, snack like it's a carnival, and remind each other that we're planted in the same soil. Whatever season your family is in, there's a place for you here.
What to Expect
- A special time of anointing and prayer over our kids for the school year ahead
- A featured family movie, plus games for every age
- A prayer guide for parents to take home
- Pizza and carnival snacks: popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, and icees
- Bookbags, school supplies, and gift cards for families who need a hand up
- A heart for our neighborhood schools, because family reaches beyond our own front door
Who This Is For
Every family at KMC, and every family you know who needs a soft place to land. Bring your kids, bring your neighbors, bring the family member who hasn't been to church in a while. This one's for everyone.
Before You Go
This is a family-friendly, all-ages morning running 10:15 AM to 1:45 PM, about 3.5 hours total: an hour of service, followed by a full family movie. Come ready to settle in.
