Bring your family, hop on the CTrail Hartford Line, and discover Hartford in a whole new way.
Your $5 ticket includes a round-trip ride on the CTrail Hartford Line, free carousel rides, fun activities for kids, and plenty of time to explore downtown Hartford. The adventure begins the moment you step aboard the train. During the train ride, you will be joined by the Executive Director of the Bushnell Park Conservancy, who will ride with the group and help kick off the day's experience.
A CTrail Hartford Line team member will also be on board to distribute event wrist bands, CTrail swag bags, and ensure everyone has everything they need for a fun and memorable trip.
Check-In:
If you are boarding in New Haven, we recommend arriving by 9:30 AM for check-in.
If you are boarding in Wallingford, Meriden, or Berlin, simply have your Zeffy ticket confirmation ready. A CTrail staff member will provide your event wristband and materials onboard.
Train Information
Everyone will travel to Hartford aboard CTrail Hartford Line Train 6402.
Board at any of the following stations:
● New Haven Union Station – 10:05 AM
● New Haven State Street Station – 10:08 AM
● Wallingford Station – 10:23 AM
● Meriden Station – 10:32 AM
● Berlin Station – 10:41 AM
Arrival at Hartford Union Station: 10:56 AM
Once You Arrive:
After arriving at Hartford Union Station, the group will enjoy a short guided walk to Bushnell Park, led by the Bushnell Park Conservancy.
There, you'll have the opportunity to:
● Enjoy FREE rides on the historic Bushnell Park Carousel
● Explore the park's beautiful landscape, champion trees, and open green spaces
● Visit the iconic Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Arch
The rest of the day is yours to enjoy! Explore downtown Hartford at your own pace - visit museums, grab lunch, stroll the riverfront, or simply relax in one of Connecticut's most historic parks, all within easy walking distance of Hartford Union Station.
Return Trip
There is no set return time. Your event wristband is valid for travel on any CTrail Hartford Line train later that day, so you can head home whenever you're ready. Visit https://HartfordLine.com/fares-schedules to view the full schedule, station information, and departure times before you travel.
Please note: Wristbands are valid on CTrail Hartford Line trains only and are not valid on Amtrak trains.
