Family Day: Guitar Lab
Strum, listen and learn during Family Day: Guitar Lab, a hands-on program inspired by America at the Crossroads: The GUITAR and a Changing Nation.
Families can explore the history of the guitar through interactive learning stations, staff-led activities and up-close opportunities to see special guitars while the exhibition is still on view. Designed for children and adults, the program gives visitors a family-friendly way to connect sound, design, music and history inside the Wayne Thomas Gallery.
With America at the Crossroads on view through Aug. 23, families still have several weeks to explore the exhibition on their own. This event offers one of the final special opportunities to experience it through hands-on programming at the History Center.
The program is included with museum admission. All ages are welcome.
Additional support for America at the Crossroads is provided by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
