Family Day College Tour

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Location: Southern Connecticut State University, 1 Wintergreen Ave., New Haven, CT 06515

Bring the family for a welcoming and informative day on the Southern Connecticut State University campus! The Family Day College Tour is designed to help students and their loved ones explore college life together. Families will have the chance to walk the campus, learn about academic programs, meet staff and current students, and discover the many supports available to help students succeed.

During the tour, families will:
• Explore key campus buildings, classrooms, and student spaces;
• Learn about admissions, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities;
• Hear about student life, clubs, and support services;
• Ask questions and get guidance from knowledgeable staff; and
• Experience a snapshot of what college looks and feels like.

This event is perfect for families of high school students who want to understand the college journey.
