Family Cookie Decorating

Make lasting memories and share the joy of the season with your family by joining Sugarcoated for a Christmas themed parent and me cookie decorating class!

Celebrate the season with decorating cookies with your kids, but with a focus on the fun! We do all the mixing, baking, and clean-up to make your memories that much sweeter. Join us at Caboose Commons—a community hub with a kitchen, brewery, and coffee bar—for a festive afternoon.

This one hour family cookie crafting event includes:

• Admission for one adult and one child;
• 6 cookies in Christmas inspired shapes for adult and child to share (gluten-free available!);
• Icings, parchment, wooden scribe, and take home box;
• A sprinkle bar!;
• A short group presentation by Sugarcoated about royal icing and cookie decorating tips;
• Printed full-color packet with step-by-step instructions including pictures and tips for your success (yours to keep!);
• One-on-one helpful hints and troubleshooting; and
• Tried and true cookie and royal icing recipes to continue the fun at home.

This class is limited to 8 tickets/16 total attendees. Ticket includes admission for one adult and one child. This is all about decorating cookies and is not a formal class, although Amalea will provide some group instruction and one-on-one help, she knows from experience that the kids just want to dive into decorating!

You can also purchase additional cookie DIY kits at a special class discount. Save $5 on a half dozen cookie kit. Cookies are heat-sealed for freshness and royal icing is shelf stable, so you can decorate more cookies and they'll taste just as good as the ones you do in class - a perfect Christmas Eve activity!

Please note, this class will be held on Caboose Commons' 3rd floor, which is not wheelchair accessible.
