A Family Constellation workshop is a profound experiential group therapy session aimed at uncovering and resolving hidden dynamics within family systems, relationships, and social networks that can unconsciously shape an individual’s challenges.
Developed by German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger, this method reveals how unresolved generational traumas, family secrets, or unspoken conflicts can influence one’s emotional, relational, and physical well-being.
Participants bring an issue they wish to address such as struggles in relationships, recurring life patterns, or health concerns and with the facilitator’s guidance, map out their family system using other group members as representatives. This living “constellation” brings to light the unseen patterns and emotional entanglements that may be at the root of their challenges.
The process fosters deep insight as participants witness these dynamics unfold, revealing connections and influences previously hidden in their energy field. Randy skillfully guides the exploration with sensitivity, introducing shifts, acknowledgments, or repositioning within the constellation to restore harmony and balance.
These Systemic Constellations often results in profound shifts, releasing the weight of inherited burdens and fostering a sense of belonging, clarity, and healing. Also referred to as systemic constellation work, this method is celebrated for its ability to access deep emotional truths and create transformative breakthroughs, offering participants taking a profound journey into the depths of the soul, so they can live their full potential.
Randy Goldberg, LMT is a graduate of the DC Hellinger Institute, and of advanced studies in Family Constellation with Heinz Stark of Germany.
