Family Class: Cupcakes! (chocolate cake + vanilla buttercream)

Each ticket includes admission for o ne grown up + one kid*! You will share a baking table and work together to make the cupcakes.

In this class, you will:

• make chocolate cupcakes from scratch!
• learn how to make vanilla buttercream
• learn lots of baking tips you can apply to other recipes
• hands on: gain confidence using an icing bag and piping tip
• decorate your cupcakes with an assortment of sprankles & toppings
• discuss what "job" each ingredient is "hired" to do in the recipe
• take home AT LEAST a dozen cupcakes you made yourself!
• have FUN with your baking buddy!

* Young participants must be at least 8 yrs old and accompanied by a grown up (18+). This is a Real Class and we'll teach real baking skills; it will be most enjoyable for kids who can stay engaged for the duration of a 2.5 hr class.

PS. Is your "kid" also a grown up? That's fine! Just know that this class is designed to include young children, so don't be surprised by the vibe :-)

ABOUT MUDDY'S HANDS-ON BAKING CLASSES

Muddy's hands-on baking classes are in-depth AND fun! Class sizes are small so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Your instructor will demonstrate every step of the recipe and be available as you try each step yourself.

Who should participate? Anyone looking to have fun, learn about baking, and build confidence in the kitchen! Please read above for age requirements.

Are classes wheelchair accessible? Our tables are height-adjustable, so if you need special accommodations, just let us know ahead of time and we'll be sure to have the table and your spot all ready for you!

What about cancellations/refunds? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. Please check the date/time carefully before booking. If you cannot make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend.
