Welcome to this special edition of Music & Family Time for the Christmas season! Babies, toddlers, and all the family are welcome.
The Family Christmas Service at Eliaskirken is a special edition of our regular Music & Family Time. We invite you to bring your babies, toddlers, and all the family, as we come together to explore the Christmas story through singing and dancing with our little ones.
Once a month, the Folkekirken for Internationals community gathers for a joyful Saturday morning of Music & Family Time - including Babysalmesang in English and Toddler Music Time. It is an opportunity for you and your child to:
- Enjoy music, movement and rhythm together
- Share a playful and stimulating experience
- Learn songs and hymns in the beautiful church space
- Meet other local parents and babies/toddlers
- This time, with added festive spirit for the Christmas season!
After the Family Christmas Service there will be the chance to chat over tea, coffee and festive snacks.
The service is led by Pastor Maria Fihl, together with music teacher Sarah Greenhow.
Sarah is a British singer who trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. She is an experienced church musician and music educator, having previously taught baby and toddler classes at The Little London Music School and worked in the music team at St Martin-in-the-Fields church in London. Sarah currently sings at Vor Frelsers Kirke in Christianshavn and also teaches Babysalmesang in English in Sydhavn and Glostrup.
