Family Canning Workshop

This workshop is part of our From Scratch Series, where participants build hands-on kitchen skills using real kitchen tools and culinary techniques. Along the way, participants help prepare and create ingredients that will be preserved, transformed, and enjoyed in future KitchenLab experiences.
In this Family Canning Workshop, we will use seasonal ingredients prepped by Keystone Kidspace visitors during Open Play and learn the basics of safe home canning by preparing, filling, and processing a variety of recipes. Some of what we preserve will become ingredients in future KitchenLab workshops and classes, and you’ll take home your own jars to enjoy!
Registration requires one child and one grown-up working together. Please select one adult ticket and one child ticket when registering.
