Our Pack Pinewood Derby & Graduation will be at the Friede Center (E5530 Luedtke Rd, La Valle - directions in the comments). The Pinewood Derby will be run on our brand new track!! Top finishers from Den heats will race in the grand finale. Siblings and adults can enter a car to race in their own heat as well. We'll plan to begin the Derby around 11am on Saturday. Lunch will follow the Pinewood Derby with Graduation afterwards. The Pack will provide hotdogs, plates, cups & silverware, but we're asking Dens to bring food as follows:
-Lions: Beverages
-Tigers: Chips
-Wolves: Desserts
-Bears: Hotdog buns
-WEBELOS: Side dishes
Graduation is when Scouts get their rank badge & move on up to the next level. It's a fun campout for Cubs & families because it's close & is well maintained (bathrooms are pit toilets but clean). Cubs have to have a parent to camp and it is open to siblings as well. If anyone needs gear, reach out to Julus or Sara.
We'll meet at the Friede Center after 6pm on Friday night. Cracker barrel (snack before bed) on Friday & breakfast on Saturday will be provided.
